The Dog is Happy
Finally found a dog food our rescue chow/mix will eat. Arrived quickly, when the dog is happy, the humans are happy. My favorite breed is rescue

Makes the dogs love their kibble
I hate the way it smells but my dogs love the way it tastes. I add just a small amount on top of their kibble and then mix it with warm water. They gobble down their meds in it as well. Very happy pups when this is served

Hills Science Diet was a Science Project Disaster!!
The food is so slimy and has a horrible smell. My two dogs would rather starve than eat it! LOL Well I had to go back to Nutro which stays out of stock. Thought this would be beneficial for my dogs health. Oh well live and learn I suppose. Also very expensive.

My dog loves it but I would like it better if the beef chunks were shredded.
I only add a large tablespoon of this to his kibble at each meal and the meat chunks are too large. I will buy the chicken version next time.

only food my basset hound will eat
I have a four year old basset hound that has serious food sensitivities to chicken based dry/wet dog foods, affecting his digestion and his skin. On top of that he is really picky about eating dry kibble. So I discovered Hills Science Diet Savory Stew, and he literally howls and barks now at feeding time when he sees the can in my hand. I mix it in his dish with Hills Science Diet Metabolic (Lamb and Rice kibble) and he cleans his bowl every meal. No more digestive issues, stomach discomfort, or skin irritation. My only issue with this product is frequently out of stock so I have to buy it in bulk when I can find it.

Every can smashed or dented
I have mostly been happy with purchases from Chewy. This time, however, nearly every can in two cases of this stuff was dented. No damage whatsoever to the cardboard or the shrink wrap, but the smashed cans were clearly visible through the plastic. This seems to be par for the course nearly everywhere, though. Pay a lot. Get carelessness delivered quickly.

Hills Science Diet
I rated this dog food as a 4 based on the other reviews I have seen. The food looks appealing, however, my two yorkies would not go near the bowl of food. I even mixed it with a little table food which they never turn down and they still would not eat it .. They would smell it and turn away. So, they are back on Cesar.
